Basic Hosting Service
Basic hosting allows for a website constructed only of simple html pages. Scripting and
website analysis are not supported but can be added for an additional charge
Basic hosting is ideal for sites that contain static text and images intended to promote the
customer's services or products
Up to 20 (pop3) email addresses are available with basic hosting as well as email forwarding
and auto-responders
Website maintenance is via any FTP program and FrontPage extentions can be added for
an additional charge

Professional Hosting Service
The Professional hosting service includes everthing in Basic hosting and adds scripting,
ASP and ASP.Net at no additional charge. Website analysis (TStats) is also included in
the price and maintenance can be via FTP or FrontPage extensions (but not both)
Professional hosting is intended to be used for anything up to full-scale e-commerce websites
Information can be managed in Access databases, which are supported free of charge

Parking
Our parking service allows domains to be registered before the corresponding website is
ready for publication. The special parking page informs visitors that the domain has
been registered. This allows the customer to "grab" that perfect domain name and then
develop their website
Visitors are able to email the owner of the domain but cannot find out who that owner is -
unless, of course, the owner is happy to tell them
Our parked-domain hosting service offers a low-cost alternative to providing your own
holding page and allows you to concentrate on creating your website

SQL Server Databases
Microsoft SQL Server is the ideal database platform for supporting a range of web-based
applications. It is used by 1000's of websites World-wide because it offers an affordable
and scaleable database solution
Our shared SQL Server machines are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and
provide an extremely stable and reliable service. We currently offer SQL Server
version 2000 and will be upgrading to version 2005 in the near future
If payment is made in advance for 1 year hosting the last month is free - i.e. instead of
£15.00 x 12 = £180.00 for a 50MB database the actual cost is £165.00
Although database backups are created and managed free of charge we charge
£50.00+VAT for each restore. This is, of course, unless RichBeck Software is at fault
in which case the restore will be done without charge

WebSite Backup
Backup of webspace (website and any associated Access database) is charged as
shown. The cost of SQL Server databases backups is included in the standard charge
for the database service
Files are stored incrementally on a 30 day cycle. Backup is real-time wherever possible -
it may not be possible to backup MS Access databases real-time due to the volume of
changes or the adverse affect on the server
We advise all customers to keep their own copies of all website content for additional
security. Backed-up files are only kept for 30 days. The customer will have to provide
copies of files more than 30 days old

SSL
Data security is essential for modern e-commerce websites where important data, e.g.
credit card details and other personal information, is transmitted between the client
browser and the server
For websites requiring such secure transmission of data we can provide SSL certificates
issued by Thawte. The cost covers the allocation of a dedicated IP address and all
administrative tasks including the process of the certificate application on your behalf

Service Change
When a change of service type is required, e.g. from parking to basic hosting or from
basic to professional we make a one-off charge to cover administration costs
This charge is constantly reviewed and kept as low as possible
The charge is waived if the change also includes any development work, regardless of
how much development work is ordered
